Instrument Training Instruction

Here is some important information:

CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT

A Private Pilot Certificate is required.

FLIGHT TIME REQUIREMENTS

You must have 50 hours of cross-country time as a pilot in command, flying to airports more than 50 NM from the departure point.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT

You must have a current third-class FAA medical certificate or fly under BasicMed.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

You must be able to read, speak, write and understand English.

Next Steps in your Instrument Rating Training:

Study the GLEIM instrument flight maneuvers and practical test book prior to flight training.

 

Next you will prepare and schedule your FAA Knowledge Test. The test is made up of 60 multiple-choice questions. You need a score of 70% or higher to pass the test.
